Marker Stains can be super detrimental to hardwood floors. Sometimes our children want to help “stain” the wood floor, and boy do they. In all actuality there is hope for this mess! In fact, there are several possibilities! Which Include

•  Baking soda toothpaste
• Rubbing Alcohol
• Nail polish remover
• Cleaning ads

All of these tactics really do work wonders on the floor, but be very careful not to take too much off the finish.

For the Toothpaste Nail Polish, and Rubbing Alcohol:

Pour selected choice on a paper towel or wash cloth, then lightly scrub in a circular motion, but not for too long, just enough to get it on the stain nice and deep.

Then wait five or ten minutes.

Wipe the stain again with a wash cloth scrubbing a little harder. It should come right up! If not please repeat .

With the Cleaning pads all you have to do is scrub softly on the stain until stain is gone!

We want nothing more , but to have a wonderful clean house. We clean all day , and the house practically looks perfect, then we look down and see a messy drain. Well… It can be quite “draining”

It can be a dirty task but it is actually quite easy to clean the drain. It is probably  a good idea to clean your kitchen sink drain two or three times  per month using this  easy method.

• What you’ll need:
• Whie vinegar-1/2 cup
• Baking Soda-As big as your hand. (Just grab some!)
• Water (cold )

Pour  baking soda into the drain and then add white vinegar. These ingredients will combine and form a small erupting (safe) volcano. Cover the drain for several minutes. Uncover and then rinse with cold water after 1/2 hour.

Is it hard  keeping your walls clean? I think many of us want the biggest living spaces we could possibly have, so what do we do? We try making  things looks larger.We arrange the furniture very far apart, and a lot of times that means all the way up against the walls. This may improve on making the area look larger, but it can have some serious damage to the walls. We never would want our kids to mark or scratch the walls, but so many times we can scratch them unknowingly  just with our furniture.

So a good solution would be arranging your furniture six inches(ish) from the wall. This will create fewer smudges , marks, and/or bumping. This is also great because both dusting and possibly vacuuming will be significantly easier,which would create more shine to those precious walls!

It is inevitable… If you are a coffee drinker, sooner or later there will be a stain on you or on your most precious table cloth or carpet.

Many of us just place a rug or move furniture around the stain to make it “non-existent”, but like most things in life, just covering bad stains up is not a great idea.

There is hope! It is very simple to get those tough stains out.  If you clean your own clothes and cook with vinegar from time to time, then all of the ingredients for a stainless carpet are in your pantries!

Things you will need:

• Paper towels (Preferably white because colored may stain more)
• Powdered laundry detergent
• Distilled white vinegar
• Cold water
• Small cup or dish
• Toothbrush (Please do not brush your teeth with it again after the use!)
• Liquid laundry detergent with color-safe bleach (Oxyclean) R.I.P. Billy Mays

Steps to success:

1. Use the Paper towels by not rubbing in circles Mr. Miyagi style (because it could spread the stain), but by patting the damp area with a lift and press motion.
2. Rinse the stain with some nice Cold Water.
3. In a small container, mix powdered detergent, more cold water, and the vinegar. It is almost like you are creating your own toothpaste with the consistency.
4. Before application of the mixture, make sure that the mixture does not discolor any fabric.
5. Rub the paste on the stain. Spread it in very nice. You can at this time wax on and wax off using the toothbrush. (5 minutes apx.)
6. Rinse again with cold water
7. Pour some LIQUID detergent and rub it in with your hands or the brush again.

There you go!

Make sure to clean the coffee ASAP!
